Soul Blue
Known by all and loved by many in the little town of Soulville two figures have come to eptomize Soul fandom. Fixtures at all home and many away games, the dynamic duo of Captain Soul and Moxie are as much a part of Soul football as any fan, player, or coach.
These members of the Blue Brigade are unrelenting in their support of the Soul and undaunted by opposing fans or teams. These two have carved a niche for themselves as cheer (and jeer) leaders while remaining grounded and humble. Doing it day after day all with a self-deprecating sense of humor. Few people realize what it takes to do what these two do and while other members of the Brigade's roster may change the Captain and Moxie will be there. Protectors against asshatted opponents and officials, defenders of the blue and grey, champions of fair play.
PoS and all of Soulville salute you Captain Soul and Moxie. You have long deserved (though never craved) recongnition for your efforts. Thanks so much for all you do. You have our unrelenting support.
While not the only costumed fans in Arena Football they are certain to become the most recognizable with the Soul having such a prominent position in the first year of the new televsion deal with ESPN and the online exposure from ESPN.
ESPN recently debuted a "webisode" featuring the leaders of the Blue Brigade. This will be an ongoing weekly series.
