The Philadelphia Soulmate that will represent the Soul at Arenabowl XXI as part of the 2007 Aaron's Dream Team was officially announced before the fourth quarter of the final regular season Soul game.
An honor akin to that of other all-star teams, the representatives are voted for by fans and the dance team members from around the AFL. More than just a popularity contest the nominee choosen is one that best represents the team and squad ideals. Their duties include promoting both Aaron's and the Arena Football League through appearances at various events and functions.
The represntative elected this year is none other than third year veteran and first year co-captain...
L-Rod herself, LINDSAY
Lindsay, along with representatives from the other 18 AFL teams that comprise the Dream Team, will travel to New Orleans to part in Arenabowl weekend.
And who knows, maybe the Philadelphia Soul will be there too. And not just as spectators. They have made the playoffs, and did win last night. But more on that later. Right now it's all about congratulating Lindsay and knowing that a lot of other AFL fans are about to learn something Soul fans have known for years. This girl rocks.
