The Excellence of Execution
On Monday May 14, 2007 a well prepared Philadelphia team in grey with blue accents took to the field of the Wachovia Center with one goal in mind. Dazzle the assembled crowd.
Time and time again this underrated group of athletes displayed execptional poise, grace, and discipline. At both ends of the field throughout the game the teams squads, led by experienced captains, implemented the planned scheme with precision. The exhibition Coach M envisioned for midway through the third quarter was the highlight of the game.
Not not the Soul. Have you watched that group on the field lately?
This team is of course the Philadelphia Soulmates. And Coach M is not Munsey but Marla.
With the way things have gone for the Soul it seemed fitting to shine a little light on the group that has kept it together and kept smiling through a bad stretch of the season.
Week after week their dedication has paid off for fans. As difficult as it must be to show no signs of frustration and as trying as it must be to face disgruntled fans, all the while smiling, posing for pictures, and signing stuff. These ladies do it with aplomb.
