Amidst much merrymaking PhiletOfSoul.com found Soul FB/LB Chad Dukes whooping it up with some frolicking fans. The Hazard of Dukes had this to say
What's your favorite part about playing in Philly?
I've gotta say the fans. I've always played in Philly against Philly.
Whether it was playing against Temple, or playing against the Eagles,
or playing arena football. Whatever it was, the fans were always the
ones on your stuff. It's my first year having a chance to play
standing with Philly, so...
Have you had a chance to get around town a bit?
No! Not at all...
So I guess it wouldn't be fair to ask you what your favorite
cheesesteak place is?
I don't have one... tell me where to go, I'll go. I haven't had a
chance to do the tourist thing in Philly yet. When my family comes up,
I'll definitely take the time to see the sights.
Which Jessica? Simpson, Beil, Alba, or Rabbit?
There's more than one Jessica? Where they at? *laughs* Definitely not
Jessica Simpson. I don't know who the other ones are, but I'll go with
one of them.
Do you have any geek hobbies?
Well, I'm on the computer a lot, but I don't think that's very geeky.
What's the most trouble you've ever been in when you were younger?
Oh, man, you're getting too personal... Oh my God! *laughs* The sky's
the limit. When I was a juvenile running around the street... nothing
I wanna brag about but everything you'd wanna learn from.
Any significance to your jersey number?
Um... no. It's just a number that carried through high school, Pop
Warner days... I kinda grew up with it.
Any embarrassing pregame rituals you don't want anyone to know about?
No. Just myself, just quiet, praying that everyone and everything
comes out alright.
