Philet of Soul Interviews WR/DB Rob Milanese - 09 APRIL 2006

PhiletOfSoul.com noticed a huge smile from across the arena. On the other end of it was Soul WR/DB Rob Milanese, who was still beaming from his huge game that afternoon.
What's your favorite part about playing in Philly?
It's obviously the fans. They're wild. Plus, I like the fact that they're tough. If you do bad, they'll tell you. They stick around till the end and cheer though, that's the good part.

What's your favorite cheesesteak house?
Jim's, as long as you don't stay in there too long, because then you'll smell like onions for a week.

Utz or Herr's?
I gotta go with Utz.

Delilah's or Cheerleaders?
*laughs* I've never been to either.

Which is your favorite Jessica: Simpson, Biel, Alba, or Rabbit?
It's either Biel or Alba... I'll go with Alba.

Do you have any geeky hobbies?
Not really, no...

What's the one movie you're embarrassed to admit that you like?
Harry Potter. I own them all.

What's the most trouble you ever got into when you were younger?
I got suspended in 8th grade for throwing one of those stink bombs under the teacher's desk. The whole school was evacuated.

Is there any significance to your jersey number?
My college number was 5, and once I got here someone already had 5 so I just chose 15.

Have you ever climbed the net?
Nah... I've thought about it, but I get scared. There's two little things up there that feel like they're gonna snap.

Who's the best and worst singer in the locker room?
The worst singer used to be Boone... we have White Boy Wednesdays, and he used to make a CD. Someone's gotta step it up though...

Word around town is that Dallas sucks. What's your take?
I've hated them for years... my best friend used to root for them. I hate Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, and Irvin with a passion. I'm a Giants fan, by the way, so I hated them from a different angle. *laughs*

I'd really like to come up with a snappy smartass remark regarding Mr. Milanese being a Giants fan, but my brain just isn't working all that well today. So I'll just thank him for his time instead.
